Job summary

Berenberg is seeking a Platform Engineer for MONSO in London to help evolve a modern, self-service platform for monitoring, observability, and SIEM. You will build automation-enabled pipelines and empower SOC/CyberSec and developers to deploy detections with CI/CD, on a Kubernetes-based stack including Splunk and SolarWinds.

The role emphasizes automation-first approaches, strong Splunk/telemetry knowledge, and collaboration across a compact SPEAR Technology team in a hybrid, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with automation-first mindset and CI/CD focus.
• Strong observability and telemetry background with Splunk, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience managing workloads and deployments.
• Solid Linux administration and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain monitoring, observability, and SIEM tooling using IaC.
• Deploy and scale platform workloads on internal Kubernetes; automate processes.
• Develop self-service automations for onboarding data and deploying detections.
• Ensure integration across hybrid infra, log pipelines and network telemetry.
