Job summary

Chainalysis is hiring a Platform Engineer II to build, operate, and evolve shared infrastructure that powers every engineering team. You will manage Kubernetes clusters, cloud networking, and streaming infrastructure, collaborating with senior engineers to drive reliability and scale across the platform.

The role emphasizes Go/Python development, Terraform-based provisioning, and hands-on incident response, with opportunities to grow within a leading blockchain analytics company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of platform engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, IAM, S3, VPC).
• Production Kubernetes experience beyond local environments.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or shell scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP using Terraform.
• Operate and evolve multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters (EKS).
• Own the operational side of streaming infrastructure migrations (Kafka/MSK to WarpStream).
• Contribute to platform tooling and reconcilers using Go and Kubernetes API.
• Design and maintain networking and security infrastructure (IAM, IRSA, VPC).
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive operational excellence.
