Job summary

Chainalysis is the blockchain data platform. The Senior Platform Engineer will design, build, and run foundational services that empower engineers to deploy safe software, owning complex work from inception to production.

You’ll influence platform standards and roadmaps for high availability, observability, security, and ease of use. In this role you’ll operate Kubernetes clusters, Kafka, CI/CD, artifact management, and shared infrastructure across AWS and other clouds, while partnering with

Qualifications

Experience designing and running AWS infra (IAM, EC2, EKS, RDS, MSK, S3, Lambda, VPC).
Experience managing multi-tenant Kubernetes and Kafka in prod with upgrades and incident response.
IaC and CI/CD with Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker.
Observability design and PostgreSQL tuning using Datadog or Prometheus.
Proficient in Python/Go/Java/Scala/shell with clear tradeoff communication.

Responsibilities

Design, operate, and improve platform services including Kubernetes, Kafka, and CI/CD.
Build secure, scalable AWS infrastructure with infrastructure as code.
Improve production reliability with SLOs, self-healing, and incident response.
Create self-service workflows and platform abstractions for engineers.
Collaborate with security, cost, and engineering teams to strengthen controls and roadmap.
