Cathcart Technology is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer for a Stockport hybrid role (2 days onsite). The job follows a major migration to Google Cloud Platform and focuses on improving, maintaining and developing cloud infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, FluxCD and GitHub.

You will work closely with Software Engineers, be hands-on, troubleshoot issues, and help improve automation, monitoring and reliability across a Linux-based stack.

Qualifikationen

• Strong Linux infrastructure and troubleshooting
• Docker and containerised environments
• Kubernetes
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Monitoring, logging and troubleshooting production systems
• Cloud platforms - ideally GCP or AWS
• CI/CD and deployment tooling

Aufgaben

• Improve, maintain, and develop cloud infrastructure in a post-migration environment
• Collaborate with Software Engineers to ensure reliability and performance
• Troubleshoot issues by digging through logs and metrics
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using IaC and CI/CD tooling
• Contribute to monitoring and observability improvements
