Job summary

Oliver Bernard, a leading UK technology consultancy, is working with one of the world's premier investment banks on a large-scale cloud modernisation programme. You will join a security-conscious, high-traffic environment to move legacy banking tech to modern cloud platforms using GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

Expect 3 days per week on-site in Canary Wharf and a fast-paced, autonomous team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as a Platform Engineer.
• Software engineering background with Python, Java or Go.
• Cloud experience with GCP and related services.
• Containerisation using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Git).

One of the world's leading Investment Banks is looking for Platform Engineers to work on a large scale cloud modernisation project. You will be part of a large scale transformation to move legacy banking technology onto modern cloud platforms which will help make their development teams work faster, more autonomous and more reliable at scale.

This is an exciting project to be embedded within a flagship enterprise client: a household-name with a large, high-traffic technology estate.

Must have Skills:
