Job summary

Atarus is seeking a Platform / DevOps Engineer to design, build and run scalable infrastructure powering millions of customers worldwide. You will work with developers to deliver secure, reliable platforms, enabling the business to move faster with confidence.

You'll architect distributed systems in AWS, manage Kubernetes at scale, implement IaC with Terraform, and contribute to observability and incident response. Python proficiency is preferred, but other languages are welcome.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong coding skills—ideally Python, but open to others.
• Solid experience using Terraform for large-scale IaC.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and operate distributed systems in AWS.
• Manage and optimise Kubernetes clusters at scale.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Write clean, production-ready code (Python preferred, but language-flexible).
• Drive improvements in monitoring, observability, and incident response.
• Automate wherever possible to reduce manual effort and increase reliability.
• Collaborate on architectural decisions shaping the future of the platform.
