Job summary

SR2 REC LTD is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and build a modern platform from the ground up in Bristol. The role focuses on Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD, with hybrid working and some travel flexibility.

You will own infrastructure design, deployment pipelines and tooling, delivering scalable, secure systems that improve development velocity and platform reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps/infrastructure experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS and Terraform.
• Hybrid working arrangement in Bristol with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve scalable, secure infrastructure.
• Lead Kubernetes implementation and ongoing platform evolution.
• Develop and maintain IaC with Terraform and automation pipelines.
• Build, test and operate CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployments.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce manual work.
• Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor performance and reliability of infrastructure and apps.
• Enhance security, resilience and best practices across the platform.
• Contribute to Platform Engineering initiatives across the team.
