Job summary

Client Server Limited in St Albans is seeking a Platform Engineer (AWS C# or Python) to help build and operate the platform underpinning trading applications. You will work with a small team to enable software engineers to develop, test and deploy.

The role blends software engineering with cloud infrastructure, embracing AI tooling and modern DevOps practices. Expect a hybrid role with 2–3 days WFH, core hours, and opportunities to impact high availability systems.

Qualifications

• Software engineering background with C# .NET and/or Python.
• Strong AWS experience and IaC, preferably Terraform.
• Solid Kubernetes experience and modern platform thinking.
• Hands-on with AI development tools and evolving AI practices.
• Experience building high availability systems.
• Automation-focused mindset improving developer experience.
• Collaborative, eager to learn and share knowledge.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field from a top university.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the platform underpinning trading platforms.
• Develop tools and services to enable engineers to build, test and deploy.
• Collaborate across teams at the intersection of software, cloud infra and developer experience.
• Help embrace AI, evolve tooling and processes for AI agents and developers.
• Maintain high availability and robust operational practices.
