Harrington Starr is seeking a high-impact Platform Engineer for an 8-week contract based in London (Bank Station). The role focuses on building a scalable, cloud-native infrastructure with automation, standardised governance and strong observability across Kubernetes estates.
You will own foundational platform workstreams including Terraform modules, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, DNS and tagging governance, RBAC patterns, Gateway API migration, and comprehensive architecture diagrams to set the future

Location: London - Bank Station. 5 days a week.

A high-growth fintech business is undertaking a significant modernisation of its cloud platform, with a focus on automation, scalability and operational resilience.
The organisation is investing heavily in reducing manual infrastructure management, standardising cloud services through Infrastructure as Code and upgrading critical components across its Kubernetes estate.
This engagement sits at the centre of that transformation and will give the successful contractor ownership of several foundational platform initiatives that will shape how engineering teams deploy, secure and operate services going forward.
