Job summary

Exalto Consulting Ltd in London (Central) is looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a technical delivery team. This hybrid role requires 2–3 days onsite per week and offers rates up to £650 per day (Inside IR35).

You will design, build and maintain secure, enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure on AWS and help implement Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices. Core skills: AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, AWS Lambda, Python or Bash.

Qualifications

• Strong AWS cloud engineering experience.
• Terraform IaC and reusable modules.
• GitLab CI/CD pipeline building and maintenance.
• Docker containerisation and workload management.
• Python or Bash scripting for automation.

Platform Engineer

Rate: Up to £650 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: Until March 2027
Clearance: Active SC clearance required

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a technical delivery team working on secure, enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.

You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining AWS platforms, implementing Infrastructure as Code and supporting modern DevOps practices.

Key Skills Required:

• AWS – Strong cloud engineering and architecture experience.
• Terraform – Infrastructure as Code and reusable modules.
• GitLab CI/CD – Building and maintaining deployment pipelines.
• Docker – Containerisation and workload management.
• AWS Lambda – Serverless architecture and development.
• Python / Bash – Scripting and automation.

Desirable: ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, multi-account AWS environments and DevSecOps experience.
