Job summary

Invisible Technologies is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to own a domain of the platform—identity, compute, delivery, or agent infrastructure—and set its direction. You’ll define patterns for cross-team use and ensure reliability, security, and cost efficiency.

This role emphasizes judgement over throughput: decide which problems matter, avoid bespoke client work when unnecessary, and determine what should be built from scratch. Strong platform engineering fundamentals are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and operating production Kubernetes at multi-team scale.
• Strong Python programming for tooling beyond basic configuration.
• Security focus: identity/SSO, secrets, and threat modeling.
• Ability to document decisions and lead design trade-offs.
• Excellent written communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Track record shipping infrastructure relied on by other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own a platform domain end-to-end: architecture, roadmaps, reliability, security, cost.
• Lead design discussions across performance, scalability, cost, security, reliability.
• Build multi-tenant infra enabling client self-service, without bottlenecks.
• Advance agent-native engineering model with safe execution environments.
• Set standards for engineering collaboration with coding agents and automation.
• Partner with client-facing teams to translate infra needs into platform capabilities.
• Mentor engineers, review designs, and raise the technical bar.
• Own on-call and post-incident review practice.
