Job summary

Mane Contract Services in Plymouth is seeking experienced Fabricators who currently hold SC Clearance to join a long-term marine refit programme. Work will involve interpreting engineering drawings and carrying out fabrication to tight standards on complex vessels.

NVQ Level 3 or an approved apprenticeship is required, with proven heavy fabrication experience. A strong commitment to health and safety, teamwork and quality is essential for delivering on-site milestones.

Qualifications

• Marine/defence/oil & gas/rail or related heavy engineering experience considered.

Fabricator - Marine Refit Project | Plymouth

We're currently seeking experienced Fabricators who currently hold SC Clearance to join a skilled workforce supporting a major long-term marine refit programme in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a high-profile engineering project, contributing to the maintenance and refurbishment of complex marine vessels.

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 qualified in Fabrication or a completed apprenticeship
• Proven experience in heavy fabrication environments
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Marine, ship repair, defence, oil & gas, rail, heavy engineering or other relevant industrial experience considered
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent teamworking and communication skills
• Good understanding of health, safety and industry best practices
