Plating Technician (Plater) – 2nd Shift
Location: Plymouth, MA | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Department: Manufacturing Operations

Tech Etch is a 100% employee-owned manufacturer of precision-engineered components for the medical, aerospace, and electronics industries. We are seeking a Plating Technician to support our production team by performing chemical plating processes that ensure durability, conductivity, and compliance with customer specifications.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, values attention to detail, and is eager to grow their career in a stable, team-oriented setting.

What You’ll Do:

1. Follow process instructions and job documentation to plate materials to required thickness and finish
2. Review and apply special instructions on job travelers
3. Perform in-process inspections using calipers, gauges, and test equipment
4. Record measurement data accurately and consistently
5. Report defective parts or irregularities to your team lead
6. Monitor plating tank chemistry and equipment to ensure quality
7. Keep your workspace safe and organized
8. Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment
9. Work independently while staying on task and on schedule
10. Collaborate with your team to meet daily production goals
