Job summary

Stafforce Ports in Middlesbrough is seeking an experienced Plater to join our team on a long‑term basis. You will fabricate and plate to engineering specifications, perform tack welding, and work from technical drawings.

TIG welding experience is essential, with day or early shift options (07:30–16:00 or 06:00–14:00) and overtime available. A strong eye for detail, reliability and a safety‑minded approach are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Plater.
• Ability to tack weld to a high standard.
• TIG welding experience is essential.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable with a positive attitude towards teamwork and safety.

Responsibilities

• Day Shift: 07:30 - 16:00
  £21.67 per hour
• Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:00
  £25.14 per hour
• Overtime available

Key Requirements
