Job summary

Saica Group's Saica Flex UK site in Wigan is hiring a Plate Mounter - Production to mount print plates and support press operations. You will prep plates, inspect for issues, and help resolve registration problems while keeping production running time a priority.

The role requires previous production experience, fluent English, and a reasonable level of fitness for lifting and bending. Shifts are 12-hour patterns on a rotating four-week cycle, with a friendly environment and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a print manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English and ability to follow instructions.
• Reasonable level of fitness for lifting and bending.

Responsibilities

• Operate in line with site health and safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Organise workload to meet targets and customer requirements.
• Locate and inspect plates.
• Mount printing plates onto sleeves following customer specifications.
• Demount plates and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
• Review stock of supplies and alert Shift Manager to shortages.
