Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London is seeking a Medical PA to join the Plastic Surgery team. You will work with experienced secretaries, Consultants, Junior Doctors and Clinical Nurse Specialists to deliver a high standard service to patients, parents and carers.

You must have excellent communication and time management skills, with experience in a multidisciplinary environment and knowledge of national RTT standards. A welcoming team and a supportive workplace await.

Formación

• Experience in clinical/medical administrative environment
• Experience using Microsoft Office programmes and handling confidential information
• Willingness to train in Medical Terminology and use of electronic patient records

Responsabilidades

• Prepare clinic letters (EPIC) for consultants and clinical team within agreed time frames
• Type non-routine/urgent patient information including medical reports and discharge summaries
• Arrange appointments, transport, patient hotel and interpreters
• Manage service meetings: book venues, prepare papers, distribute minutes and carry out actions
• Upload correspondence/investigations in EPIC within 24 hours of receipt
• Ensure radiology reports and external imaging are available when required
• Gather further patient information from internal/external sources
• Undertake other duties as delegated
