Job summary

Kenect Recruitment Ltd. is assisting a recycling facility in Wednesbury to recruit a Recycling Prepper Operative. The role is an ongoing temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Pay rate is £12.71 per hour and hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm. You will separate plastic from metal for recycling, use hand and power tools, and help prepare materials for the process.

• Experience using hand-held and power tools (saws and drills).
• Attention to detail and practical skills.
• Able to work in team and independently.

We are currently recruiting for a

Recycling Prepper Operative to join a busy recycling facility based in Wednesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking for a long-term position with the potential for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Separating plastic components from metal materials ready for recycling.
• Using hand tools and power tools such as saws and drills safely and effectively.
• Preparing materials for the recycling process.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience using hand-held and power tools (including saws and drills).
• Good practical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• A reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, recycling, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
