Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Plastic Pipe Fitter located in Glasgow City. The Plastic Pipe Fitter will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plastic pipes in various systems. Typical tasks include measuring and marking pipes for cutting, threading, and welding. The role also involves assembling and welding pipes using various welding methods, including socket and butt fusion welding. Coordinating with other team members and ensuring compliance with safety standards are also part of the daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with pipe and pipefitting
• Knowledge of welding techniques, including TIG welding
• Understanding of plastic systems and their requirements
• Ability to perform tasks with high precision and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adhere to safety standards and protocols
• Relevant certification or training in welding and pipefitting is a plus
