Job summary

Nextgen Recruits Ltd in Lacock, Wiltshire, is recruiting a Plastic Pack Wash Operative for a leading free-range egg producer. The role involves cleaning plastics, trays, machinery and tools, while upholding hygiene and safety standards at all times.

Shifts are 4 on/4 off from 06:00 to 18:00. Company transport is available from Swindon or Chippenham. Prior warehouse and hygiene experience is preferred; training in HACCP is provided on-site to support you.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience essential.
• Previous cleaning or hygiene experience essential.
• Level 2 or above Food Safety and HACCP advantageous but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Effectively clean all company plastics including trays, machinery and tools.
• Promote a culture of dignity and respect amongst staff.
• Work as part of a team and carry out tasks according to instructions.
• Only operate machinery that you have been trained to use.
• Ensure you use the correct PPE for the task at all times and PPE is in good condition.
• Be safety conscious and look out for the safety of others.
• Ensure correct manual handling techniques are followed at all times.
• Comply with all hygiene and food safety procedures.
• Follow company procedures at all times.

Key Responsibilities
