Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Plastic Injection Mould Setter to join a well-established manufacturing business in Yaxley, Peterborough. Working permanent night shift, you will set and adjust moulding machines, manage tooling changes, monitor cycles and optimise production.

You will be part of a supportive team, receive weekly pay, a four-day week, and opportunities for training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Injection Mould Setter in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong tooling change and machine-setting skills.
• Experience monitoring machine performance and production output.
• Knowledge of masterbatch calibration and process optimisation.
• Excellent problem-solving and proactive fault-finding abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer literacy and data entry into internal systems.
• Solid understanding of health and safety procedures in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Set, adjust and maintain injection moulding machines to achieve optimum production performance.
• Carry out tooling changes safely and efficiently in line with production schedules.
• Monitor machine performance, cycle times and production output.
• Troubleshoot machine and process issues to minimise downtime and reduce waste.
• Calibrate masterbatch units in line with production requirements and setting sheets.
• Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety.
• Record scrap, downtime and other production data accurately within the ERP system.
• Provide supervisory cover during periods of holiday or absence when required.

Location: Yaxley, Peterborough
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00pm to 6:00am
Salary: £45,0000+ £50 Weekly Attendance Allowance

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Plastic Injection Mould Setter to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Yaxley, Peterborough. Working a permanent night shift, you'll play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, quality standards are maintained, and downtime is kept to a minimum.

The Role

As an Injection Mould Setter, your responsibilities will include:

• Setting, adjusting and maintaining injection moulding machines to achieve optimum production performance.

The Ideal Candidate
