High Profile Resourcing Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a world-renowned manufacturer in Nottingham for an experienced Injection Mould Setter to join their paint production team on fixed shifts. The role involves set, adjust and optimise injection moulding and blow moulding machines, tool changes, start-ups and process monitoring to ensure quality.

A strong track record in plastics and GMP is preferred, with a proactive, team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in injection moulding and troubleshooting.
• Ability to set up and adjust moulding tools and machines.
• Understanding of GMP and health & safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Set, adjust and optimise injection moulding and blow moulding machines across production lines.

Injection Mould Setter

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £37,375 (inc. shift allowance) + exceptional company bonuses + benefits

Shifts: Fixed shifts either 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm (no rotating shifts)

The role:

• Set, adjust and optimise injection moulding and injection blow moulding machines across high-quality production lines
• Carry out tool changes, machine start-ups and adjustments to minimise downtime
• Ensure consistent product quality through process monitoring and fine-tuning
• Work collaboratively with technical, maintenance and production teams to identify and resolve issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities and high GMP standards across the site
• Train and support production operatives to ensure the department runs efficiently
• Recommend material and colour changes where required, maintaining a focus on quality and output

The person:

• Experienced Injection Mould Setter with a solid understanding of processing parameters and troubleshooting techniques
• Confident in tool changeovers, machine set-up, and optimisation
• Experience within plastics manufacturing, extensive extrusion or blow moulding may be considered
• Proactive, detail-focused and quality-driven with a positive approach to teamwork
• Strong awareness of health, safety and good manufacturing practice
