Job summary

RSE’s Chem Resist division in Dewsbury is seeking a Semi-Skilled Fabricator to join an established team. You will assist in fabricating large-scale plastic tanks and storage vessels, including pipework, using PVC/PP/PVDF/ABS.

Training will be provided in plastic welding at our onsite school, and you will work with a market-leading group delivering innovative industry solutions. You will be part of a team delivering high-quality components across Energy, Chemicals, and Utilities sectors, with

Qualifications

• Experience using a variety of hand tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Physically demanding role with good fitness.
• Working at height and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative.
• High attention to detail and quality standards.
• Willingness to learn plastic welding at onsite school.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fabrication of components from drawings to customer specifications.
• Work with PVC, PP, PVDF and ABS pipework.
• Assist with laying out, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of piping systems.
• Support inspection of materials and parts for quality.
• Safe use of hand tools, machinery and other equipment.
• Assist other disciplines when required.
