Job summary

Chem Resist, part of the RSE Group, is seeking a Semi-Skilled Fabricator in Dewsbury to join the team fabricating bespoke plastic tanks and storage vessels. You will assist with pipework and related fabrications, learning plastic welding at our onsite training school.

You will join an established team known for quality and precision, with opportunities to work across industries including energy, chemicals, and utilities.

Qualifications

• Experience using a variety of hand tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Physically fit for a large-scale fabrication role.
• Willingness to work at height and in confined spaces.
• Team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist fabrication of components from customer samples and/or engineers drawings to customer specifications and maintain/repair existing pipework systems.
• Work with components such as PVC, PP, PVDF and ABS pipework.
• Work alongside Fabricators to assist with the laying out, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of piping systems.
• Support Fabricators with the inspection of materials and parts to ensure high standards are maintained.
• Safe use of hand tools, machinery and other equipment.
• Assist other disciplines when required.
