Job summary

KPJ Group is seeking a Plastic Fabricator in Stockport to fabricate PVC pipework and equipment for projects across the UK. You will support installation sites and refurbishments, travelling frequently.

The role offers a salary of £28,000–£35,000, a Mon–Fri schedule, overtime, and a pension with progression opportunities. A company van is available and travel hotels with a £30 nightly allowance are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in pipefitting, plumbing, or PVC pipe installation.
• Practical skills with fabrication tools and machinery.
• CSCS, PASMA, or IPAF (advantageous but not essential).
• Positive, reliable attitude and willingness to work away from home.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and welding PVC pipework and plastic components.
• Installing plant equipment including filters, pumps, and dosing systems.
• Supporting new builds, refurbishments, and major installations.
• Using hand tools, power tools, and machinery (band saws, chop saws, etc.).
• Marking out, bracketing, and carrying out plastic welding (solvent/heat).
• Occasional CNC milling or laser profiling (training provided).
• Travelling to sites across the UK (working away up to 95% of the time).

We’re hiring for a Plastic Fabricator to join a specialist engineering business based in Stockport.

In this role, you’ll be fabricating PVC pipework and equipment in the workshop, as well as supporting installation projects across the UK.

What’s on offer?

• £28,000 – £35,000 per year
• Mon – Fri | 7am – 4pm
• Overtime available (Paid at 1.5x Saturdays / 2x Sundays)
