Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking a Plasterer to join our Responsive Repairs team across South Yorkshire, including Wakefield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield and Doncaster. You will repair plastering in tenanted properties, aiming for first-visit completion with quality workmanship and adherence to timescales.

Ideal candidates hold a City & Guilds Advanced Craft in plastering or NVQ Level 2+, have a full UK driving licence, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence is required.
• City and Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate in plastering or NVQ Level 2 or higher (Desirable).
• Experience in plastering repairs and related building trades.
• Commitment to high quality, reliable service and Right First Time repairs.
• Literacy and numeracy skills to accurately complete tickets and paperwork.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to building repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering repairs to tenanted properties in line with tickets, appointments, specs and drawings.
• Aim to complete repairs in one visit where possible with high-quality workmanship.
• Keep required records (paper or electronic).
• Undertake measurement, quantities, and materials procurement as needed.
• Provide excellent customer care and protect tenants’ furniture during works.
• Carry out risk assessments before starting work and ensure health and safety for all.
