Job Description:

What we are looking for:

A qualified plasterer with proven expertise and knowledge in damp proofing, with a minimum of 2 years' experience and a proven track record.

The vacancy is for a plasterer/damp proofer, but the successful candidate must have a "get stuck in and get the job done" attitude, as the role can sometimes resemble that of a multi-skilled technician. A basic understanding of other trades would be beneficial, but more importantly, the mindset to complete jobs as a team and move on. The work involves refurbishments on residential properties.

Does this sound like you?

This role could be ideal for someone who has owned their own business or been a contractor seeking higher earnings, and no longer wants to travel or worry about gaps in employment.

In these uncertain economic times, this opportunity offers:

  • Job security
  • A regular, consistent income
  • Holiday pay
  • Additional perks for permanent employees

The company and the role:

Our client is a property development and management company owning numerous residential properties across the North of England.

They are expanding their North East branch based in Middlesbrough due to ongoing growth.

The role involves first fix and refurbishment work on:

  • Properties bought at auction that need refurbishment to meet rental standards
  • Ongoing maintenance and damage repair of properties with tenants
  • Repair work on properties between tenants
