Position: Plasterer/Damp Proofer

We are seeking a qualified plasterer with proven expertise and knowledge in damp proofing, with a minimum of 2 years of experience and a proven track record.

While the vacancy is primarily for a plasterer/damp proofer, the successful candidate must have a 'get stuck in and get the job done' attitude. The role may sometimes resemble that of a multi-skilled technician, so a basic understanding of other trades would be beneficial. More importantly, the candidate should have the mindset to complete jobs as part of a team and move efficiently to the next task. The work involves refurbishments on residential properties.

Our client is a property development and management company owning numerous residential properties across the North of England. They are expanding their NW branch in Burnley due to continued growth.

The role involves:

1. First fix and refurbishment of properties purchased at auction, bringing them up to standard for rental.
2. Ongoing maintenance and damage repairs of properties with sitting tenants.
3. Repair work on properties requiring attention between tenancies.
