Job summary

Broxtowe Borough Council's Housing Repairs team is seeking a proactive Plasterer/Builder to carry out plastering and general building repairs across the council housing stock. You will fix patch plastering, rendering, brickwork repairs, tiling, concreting and related tasks, often in occupied properties, with a focus on safety and quality.

You'll work in a team, communicate clearly with tenants, and may be asked to test skills through a practical trade exercise followed by an interview.

Qualifications

• Experience working in social housing environments.
• Proven ability to carry out repairs in tenanted properties.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering and related building repairs across council housing stock.
• Perform patch plastering, skimming, rendering, brickwork repairs, tiling and concreting.
• Work in occupied properties and void properties as required.
• Collaborate with other trades to deliver a quality repairs service.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and residents.
