Job summary

Service Care is currently seeking an experienced Plasterer to join a housing provider's repairs and maintenance team in Redhill, Surrey. This permanent role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on occupied and void properties, delivering quality plastering work for residents.

Applicants should hold NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent, have domestic plastering experience, a full UK driving licence and be able to pass a Basic DBS check.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent trade qualification.
• Proven experience in domestic plastering repairs and maintenance.
• Experience working in social housing or property maintenance is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out plastering repairs and maintenance within occupied and void properties.
• Completing patch plastering, skimming, bonding, and full wall and ceiling plastering.
• Undertaking plasterboard repairs, replacements, and general making-good works.
• Reinstating plastering after damp, mould, leaks, or other repairs.
• Preparing walls, ceilings, and surfaces before applying plaster finishes.
• Identifying damaged plasterwork and determining suitable repair methods.
• Managing your own workload independently and efficiently.
• Accurately updating job records using handheld devices.
• Communicating professionally with residents during work.
