Job summary

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Qualified Plasterer to join Derby Homes on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Carry out plastering tasks across social housing properties, including patch repairs, skimming and full room re-plastering, while maintaining safety and high-quality finishes. Excellent customer service and professional tenant communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Plasterer.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plastering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering including patch repairs, skimming, rendering and full room re-plastering.
• Complete repairs and maintenance work within occupied and void social housing properties.
• Prepare surfaces ready for plastering to ensure a high-quality finish.
• Undertake associated repair work where required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, providing excellent customer service at all times.
