Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is actively recruiting a Plasterer to work in the Darlington area. The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with duties across plastering works and site safety.

You will complete jobs efficiently, using a PDA to update orders and maintain high workmanship standards. Ideal candidates will have prior plastering experience, NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent, and a valid UK driving licence.

• NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent.
• Experience with plastering repairs, skimming and rendering.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out plastering works including repairs, skimming, rendering and related tasks.
• Completing allocated jobs using a mobile PDA to update work orders and record completed works.
• Ensuring plastering works are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Working safely and following health and safety procedures.

Overview:

The role holder will be responsible for carrying out a range of plastering works across the Darlington area, completing allocated jobs and ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard.

Main Duties:

• Carrying out a range of plastering works including repairs, skimming, rendering and associated plastering tasks
• Completing allocated jobs using a mobile PDA to update work orders and record completed works
• Ensuring all plastering works are completed efficiently and effectively
• Working safely and following relevant health and safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional approach when representing the organisation

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience of working as a Plasterer
• NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent experience
• Prior experience in completing a range of plastering works
• Ability to work effectively and manage allocated workload
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation
• Full UK driving licence
