Job summary

James Andrew Recruitment Solutions is recruiting a Plasterer for a Local Authority near Cardiff on a 12 month contract. Immediate start with potential to go full time. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00 (15:30 on Friday). You will receive a van once settled and can claim mileage from home before the van is issued.

Role involves skimming, patch plastering, wall preparation, tiling, and repairs across occupied and void properties. Recent experience is required.

Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority near Cardiff, who are recruiting for a Plasterer on a 12 month contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £21.57 per hour on a CIS basis.

You will receive a van once you have settled into the role, and following a driving assessment. You will be able to claim mileage from home prior to receiving the van.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Skimming and patch plastering within domestic properties, largely responsive repairs work
• Preparing walls and ceilings ready for decoration
• Tiling walls as required
• Carrying out general plastering repairs to domestic homes
• Working independently across occupied and void housing stock

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (15:30 on a Friday)
