Workshop Recruitment is seeking an experienced Plasterer to cover the Bognor Regis area. You will perform planned and responsive plastering in occupied homes, voids, and public buildings within social housing, handling patch repairs to full wall and ceiling finishes.

A company van and fuel card are provided, with a pension and life insurance offering. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in property maintenance, holds NVQ Level 2 in Plastering, and holds a full UK driving licence.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years’ experience in property maintenance or social housing.
• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
• Able to work independently and manage workloads.
• Willing to complete a DBS check before starting.
• Two references from previous employers or clients.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare walls and ceilings by removing damaged plaster and preparing surfaces.
• Complete patch repairs, skim coats and full wall and ceiling finishes.
• Apply plaster, render and cement finishes to internal and external surfaces.
• Install plasterboard to stud walls and overboard damaged ceilings.
• Repair cracks, holes and damaged areas following maintenance works.
• Fit coving and cornice and complete finishing work.
• Carry out Artex repairs and install specialist boards as required.
• Work safely at height and undertake DBS-approved tasks.
• Must live within the Bognor Regis area.

The Opportunity Are you an experienced Plasterer with strong domestic plastering skills and a background in property maintenance and live in the Bognor Regis area? A well-established property maintenance organisation is looking for a skilled Plasterer to join its team, covering the Bognor Regis area. You will carry out planned and responsive plastering repairs across occupied homes, void properties and public buildings within the social housing sector. This is a permanent Plasterer position offering varied work, from small patch repairs to full wall and ceiling finishes. A company van and fuel card are included.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare walls and ceilings by removing damaged plaster and preparing surfaces.
• Complete patch repairs, skim coats and full wall and ceiling finishes.
• Apply plaster, render and cement finishes to internal and external surfaces.
• Install plasterboard to stud walls and overboard damaged ceilings.
• Repair cracks, holes and damaged areas following maintenance works.
• Fit coving and cornice and complete associated finishing work.
• Carry out Artex repairs and install specialist boards where required.
• Work safely at height and undertake non-licensed asbestos works following appropriate training.
• Other multi skills will be an advantage
• Must live within the Bognor Regis area

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent.
• Have 2–5 years’ experience in property maintenance or social housing.
• Demonstrate strong domestic plastering and repair experience.
• Hold a full, clean UK manual driving licence (essential).
• Work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Communicate professionally when working in occupied properties.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Be willing to complete a DBS check before starting.
• Must have 2 x sources of references
