Job summary

Campbell Civils is seeking a Plant and Yard Operative to oversee the efficient operation of plant, equipment, materials and yard facilities. You will support teams at various sites across the North of Ireland, ensuring smooth yard functions and timely site support.

You will transport plant and materials between sites, perform safety checks, keep vehicles and equipment clean, and assist with maintenance scheduling. Training for the Palfinger crane and clamshell bucket will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating plant, equipment and yard machinery.
• Ability to transport plant and materials between sites.

Responsibilities

• Transport plant, equipment and materials to sites across the North of Ireland in line with contract demands.
• Safe, efficient and responsible driving of company vehicles and operation of company plant.
• Perform daily health and safety walk round checks.
• Keeping company vehicles, plant and equipment clean, inside and out.
• Monitor plant and equipment register in line with statutory health and safety requirements.
• Arrange maintenance and service of plant and equipment as and when required.
• Other yard duties as required, as directed by the Operations Director.
• Operating Grab Lorry with Palfinger crane and clamshell bucket (training to be provided)
