Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Workshop Fitter for their depot in Rochester. In this role, you will perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of machinery, including mini diggers and excavators. Ideal candidates will hold an NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance, possess a valid driving license, and demonstrate solid knowledge of plant machinery. In return, a competitive salary and up to 25 days of holiday are offered, along with additional leave on your birthday.

Qualifications

• Able to quickly turnaround machines with accuracy.
• In possession of a full, valid Driving Licence with no more than 3 points.
• Able to provide references to supplement your application.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of all types of machinery from 1.5t mini diggers to 35t excavators.
• Perform planned maintenance activities to ensure safe operation of plant machinery.

Good spoken and written English

Education

NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance
