Huws Gray Plant & Tool Hire invites you to join us as a Hire Manager in Exeter. You will lead the hire operation from the front, driving performance, delivering top service to customers, and ensuring safe and compliant transport and distribution of our equipment.

You’ll be part of a supportive management team, with on-the-job training and development opportunities as we grow. Based in one of our busy branches, you’ll help keep every job on track while maintaining equipment in excellent condition

Qualifications

• Prior industry experience is required to excel in this role.
• We provide training and support to help you succeed as Hire Manager.

Responsibilities

• Drive performance by leading your team to hit budget and improve KPIs.
• Build strong customer relationships by delivering great service.
• Oversee safe and legal transport and distribution of equipment.
• Ensure health, safety and company standards across operations.
• Support the wider branch as part of the management team (stock takes, reports, audits).
• Ensure the hire fleet is in excellent condition and ready for customers.
