Job summary

Huws Gray Plant & Tool Hire is seeking a Plant & Tool Hire Manager for a Wrightington branch. You will lead a busy team, drive performance, and ensure a safe, efficient operation from initial hire to off-hire, delivering excellent service to customers.

You will build strong customer relationships, manage transport and stock processes, and uphold health and safety standards while supporting the branch with audits, reports, and continuous improvement. Flexible working options may be discussed.

Qualifications

• Prior industry experience required for Hire Manager role.
• Ability to lead a team and hit KPIs.
• Experience in plant and tool hire industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive performance through team management to hit budget and KPIs.
• Build strong customer relationships by delivering great service.
• Oversee safe and legal transport and distribution of equipment.
• Ensure health, safety and company standards across operations.
• Support the wider branch with stock takes, reports and audits.
• Keep the hire fleet in excellent, safe condition for customers.
