Job summary

Huws Gray Plant & Tool Hire in Norwich is seeking a proactive Hire Manager to lead a busy branch, drive performance, and deliver excellent service from first hire to off-hire. You’ll focus on safety, compliance, and achieving budgeted KPIs while fostering a positive team culture.

You’ll manage transport and distribution of equipment, maintain the hire fleet, participate in stock takes and audits, and report to the branch leadership as part of the management team.

Qualifications

• Prior industry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Driving performance by strong management of your team to hit budget and improve KPIs
• Building strong customer relationships by delivering great service
• Overseeing safe and legal transport and distribution of our equipment
• Making sure all health, safety, and company standards are met across your operation
• Supporting the wider branch as part of the management team - taking part in stock takes, reports, audits, etc.
• Ensuring the hire fleet is in excellent condition and is safe and ready for our customers
