Heidelberg Materials UK, formerly Hanson UK, is seeking a hands-on Batching Plant Operative at our Chester site. You will produce high-quality concrete and mortar, work with the Order Office and site teams, and help maintain a clean, safe site environment.
This role requires Front-End Loader experience, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer service. Training is provided and overtime opportunities may be available.

Batching Plant Operative
Location: Chester
Hours: 45 hours per week + overtime opportunities
Salary: Up to £32,000
Training: Full training provided (Front Loader experience required)
Join Us and Help Keep Our Operations Running Smoothly! We’re looking for a hands-on, proactive, and safety-driven Batching Plant Operative to join our team. You’ll play a vital role in producing high-quality concrete and mortar, maintaining an excellent site environment, and delivering great customer service. Currently operating as a one-person site, this role is perfect for someone confident working independently, organised, and ready to take pride in keeping the plant running efficiently and safely.
