Job summary

Industrial Chemicals Group Ltd. in West Thurrock is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Manager on a permanent basis.

You will lead a maintenance team, oversee preventative and reactive repairs to ensure plant reliability, and operate Monday to Friday 08:00am – 16:30pm. The role requires hands-on mechanical maintenance experience, supervisory background, and IOSH certification; familiarity with PSSR/PUWER/LOLER and COMAH site exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in chemical or related industries.
• Familiar with PSSR, PUWER and LOLER regulations.
• Experience supervising teams.
• COMAH site experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 15 direct reports.
• Control the mechanical maintenance backlog and KPI performance.
• Compile daily/weekly maintenance reports.
• Coordinate CMMS entries and reporting accuracy.
• Deliver planned preventive maintenance on schedule.
• Cover Maintenance Manager in their absence.
• Lead risk assessments and method statements with the team.
• Manage service contracts for site equipment.
