Job summary

Panda is seeking a Plant Operative for the Caythorpe site in Lincolnshire. This hands-on role involves loading and unloading vehicles, sorting recyclables, and keeping the yard organized to keep materials moving.

You’ll gain training on the Baler and Cross Wrap, and be supported to operate plant vehicles. We prioritise safety, teamwork, and practical problem solving in a fast-paced waste management environment.

Qualifications

• Practical approach to routine machine checks
• Willingness to learn for site vehicles and machinery
• Strong focus on safety and keeping workspace tidy
• Good communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Sort recyclable materials to support effective material recovery
• Operate the Baler and Cross Wrap machines (training provided)
• Be willing and able to receive training for operating plant vehicles
• Carry out site hygiene as directed to ensure a clean and tidy workspace
• Follow risk assessments, work procedures and safe systems of work
• Maintain good housekeeping across the yard and wash down machinery at shift end
• Communicate with colleagues and support other site duties as required
