Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a Plant Operative in Falkirk for a temporary role. You will support daily production on site, operate plant equipment safely and work closely with Plant Supervisors to maintain high output and quality.

The shift pattern is Monday to Thursday 06:00–18:00 with a nightshift every three weeks. Overtime opportunities are available in a busy manufacturing environment, offering strong earning potential and stable, hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a small/medium manufacturing environment.
• Strong awareness of health & safety and safe working practices.
• Reliable, team-focused with good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a physical, hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Operating plant and production equipment safely.
• Supporting manufacturing processes including batching, mixing, loading and material movement.
• Monitoring machinery performance and reporting faults or irregularities.
• Completing basic quality checks and recording production data.
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards across work areas.
• Following all site safety procedures, PPE requirements and compliance rules.
• Assisting with stock control, waste management and general plant duties.
• Working as part of a small team to meet daily production targets.
• Adapting to nightshift every 3 weeks as part of the rotation.

Manpower has an exciting opportunity for Plant Operatives to join our client in Falkirk with an immediate start. This is a temporary role offering long shifts, strong earning potential, and the chance to work within a busy, well?established manufacturing environment.

About the Role

As a Plant Operative, you will support daily production activities across the site, ensuring a safe, efficient and well?organised working environment. Working closely with Plant Supervisors, you will help control site operations, machinery and materials to maintain smooth output and high production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating plant and production equipment safely
• Supporting manufacturing processes including batching, mixing, loading and material movement
