Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a reliable forklift operative for a hands-on role in our Castleford site. You will operate a counterbalance forklift and loading shovel to support production, monitor automated systems from the control room, and help with safe loading of lorries while performing basic quality checks.

We value reliability, organisation and a keenness to learn; full UK driving license is required and prior factory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• You have a Full UK driving licence (Category B).
• You have experience working in a similar production/factory environment.
• You have basic IT skills and can handle simple computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift and loading shovel to keep production moving.
• Monitor automated sand drying and mortar mixing systems from the control room.
• Load lorries safely and efficiently.
• Perform simple quality checks in the lab.
• Keep the factory tidy, safe and well maintained; assist with general tasks.

Monday to Friday / alternating shifts- 40 hours per week

week 1 : 0530-1400

week 2 : 1330-2200

Pay rate: £14.41 per hour (£29985.56 per annum)

What You'll Be Doing

we'll train you. Your day-to-day will include:

• Driving a

counterbalance forklift and

loading shovel to keep production moving

• Running our

automated sand drying and mortar mixing systems from the control room

• Loading lorries safely and efficiently
• Carrying out

simple quality checks in our lab (nothing complicated!)

• Helping keep the factory tidy, safe and well maintained
• Pitching in with other general factory tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

You don't need to tick every box. If you're

reliable, organised and keen to learn, you'll fit right in.

Full UK driving license (Category B)

Experience working in a similar environment

• Basic IT Skills required

Helpful but not essential:

Loading shovel experience

FLT CB License
