Job summary

Catering in the UK is seeking a Plant Operations Trainer to deliver both practical and classroom-based plant operations training across Berkshire and Oxfordshire. This permanent role offers £40,000 - £50,000, a company car, and a highly autonomous position with ongoing training and professional development.

You will train operators on excavators, dumpers, rollers and other plant, carry out CPCS/NPORS assessments, and travel to client sites as a technical expert. Full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Plant Operations (or equivalent).
• CPCS and/or NPORS licences.
• Teaching or training experience, or willingness to develop into a trainer.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Recent hands-on plant operations experience.

Responsibilities

Site-Based across Berkshire & Oxfordshire
Commutable from Reading, Swindon, Didcot, Basingstoke, Oxford, Witney and surrounding areas.

Are you an experienced NPORS Plant Operator with mentoring or training experience, looking to step away from the tools and move into a rewarding training position where you can pass on your knowledge and expertise?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing specialist business in a highly autonomous role, where you will deliver industry-leading training and assessments while continuing to develop both technically and professionally.

The company are well-established specialists within Construction Equipment Training and are continuing to expand their services across an established client base. They deliver a wide range of on-site plant training courses throughout the Berkshire and Oxfordshire regions.

In this role, you will deliver both practical and theory-based training sessions on a variety of plant machinery, alongside carrying out CPCS assessments to industry standards. You will travel to customer sites and act as a key technical expert for the business.

This role would suit an experienced plant operator with NPORS or CPCS qualifications and some mentoring, coaching, or teaching experience, who is looking to progress into a highly autonomous trainer position.

The Role:

The Person:

• Level 3 qualification in Plant Operations (or equivalent)

• Level 3 teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve within 12 months)
• Full UK Driving Licence
