Job summary

JLL in Filton, Bristol is seeking a Plant Operations Technician (Static role) on a client site (Rolls‑Royce). You will oversee and manage all plant and equipment, ensuring reliable MEP systems and compliance with safety standards.

This 40-hour-per-week, day-shift role focuses on proactive maintenance and steady operation. You will develop maintenance plans, coordinate with managers, inspect onsite, source materials, and negotiate service agreements.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering or facilities management.
• Knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Valid UK driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the operations of plant and equipment on site.
• Coordinate with managers to meet MEP requirements and maintain uptime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Perform regular onsite inspections of MEP systems and resolve faults.
• Collaborate with vendors to source materials and negotiate service agreements.
• Maintain regulatory relationships and stay updated on industry standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and sustainability.
