Job summary

Morgan Advanced Materials is seeking an Operations Manager for its Redditch manufacturing site. The role leads site operations with a strong emphasis on safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement, guiding production teams and reporting to senior management.

You will represent the site to customers, local authorities and the public while ensuring high performance and quality. Reporting to the site leadership, you will drive resource planning, training, and succession strategies

Qualifications

• Graduate with a first degree in a relevant field (e.g. materials science, engineering, operations management).
• Fluency in English and a second European language preferred but not essential.
• Experience leading engineering, production and technical departments in a large organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Redditch site operations with a strong safety, quality and environmental focus.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost effectiveness across manufacturing and supply chains.
• Maintain effective employee relations and ensure transparent communication with customers, authorities and the public.
• Coordinate capital investment proposals to support product/process improvements aligned with Morgan strategies.
