RenEco is seeking a hands-on Plant Operations Engineer to join our expanding renewable engineering team. You will support the Senior Plant Supervisor across AD plant operations, biogas upgrading, CO2 liquefaction and BioLNG production, and work with SCADA systems to keep the plant safe and efficient.
The role operates on a 4 on/4 off, 12-hour shift pattern (nights included) and involves routine maintenance, equipment checks and responsive action to alarms.

To align with RenEco’s growth strategy we have a fantastic opportunity for a Plant Operations Engineer to join the team, reporting to and supporting the Senior Plant Supervisor. Working on the plant, you will assist with shift operations across our AD plant, biogas upgrading, compression, CO2 liquefaction and BioLNG production, including food waste depackaging and raw material preparation. Alongside using the site's automated SCADA systems, you will be hands‑on with mechanical tasks using tools and equipment to help keep the plant running safely and efficiently. This role operates a 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shift pattern (including nights).
As a Plant Operations Engineer you will be a support for the Senior Plant Supervisor, helping to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
We are looking for a pro‑active, hands‑on individual with mechanical aptitude and experience using tools to carry out plant maintenance and repair tasks. A working knowledge of SCADA or control systems would be advantageous, as would experience driving mobile plant such as FLTs or cherry pickers. You will be comfortable working outdoors and across a rotating shift pattern, and will have a sound understanding of Health & Safety legislation and requirements of the industry.
