GAP Group is seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic to service a fleet of diggers, dumpers, and hand tools. This hands-on role involves depot-based work and occasional on-site visits to keep equipment safe, reliable, and ready for customers.

You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and maintain accurate service records while upholding safety standards and supporting customer satisfaction. A proactive, detail-focused approach helps you thrive here.

Qualificações

• Proven mechanical experience in a plant/mechanical role.
• Experience with plant hire equipment is a plus or full training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Servicing and maintaining a wide range of plant and tool equipment within the GAP fleet.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Accurately updating service records and ensuring safety standards are met.
• Occasionally attending customer sites to carry out repairs and maintenance.
• Supporting the depot team to ensure equipment availability and customer satisfaction.

Conhecimentos

Mechanical experience

Diesel engines experience
