Job summary

Qualifications

• GCSEs at grade 4+ or 4 National 4s at passing grade.
• Genuine interest in plant machinery and engineering.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Learn to service, maintain and repair a wide range of plant machinery and equipment.
• Replace components, check systems and calibrate instruments.
• Develop core engineering skills with exposure to electro hydraulics and computerised control systems.
• Work with experienced fitters to gain hands-on, real-world workshop experience.
