ion-tec Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee maintenance and repair of plant assets. You will manage the engineering team, plan repairs and installations, and ensure safe operations across the site.

Key responsibilities include leading maintenance activities, implementing procedures, monitoring budgets, and ensuring documentation is up-to-date. A proactive approach to minimizing downtime is required.

Aufgaben

• Maintaining all machinery to ensure it's at working standards.
• Planning and managing all repair and installation activities.
• Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations.
• Creating and implementing maintenance procedures.
• Assigning repair schedules and evaluating repair cost estimates.
• Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
• Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
• Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary.
• Ensures PPM's are completed as per the PPM schedules. All documentation and information relating to the PPM's must always be correct and up-to-date .
• Proactive approach to troubleshoot, and repair equipment without causing extended equipment downtime.
• Work through, prioritise and delegate engineering jobs list provided by the Engineering department and other departments.
• Minimise cost where possible by ensuring efficient use of all engineering/production consumables.
